Our great God and Savior is alive and active and doing great things in this world. Let’s worship him in our #scatteredassembly by singing some songs (or just listening), giving, hearing Scripture read, listening to a message from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, and praying. Some may wish to just jumpstraight to the message or the childrens’ story or the Scripture reading, but the songs have been prayerfully selected to guide us in worship. Though we are not gathered together, we can worship our God together by engaging in the same activities at roughly the same time, so please, follow along!
As I mention each Sunday that we gather together, we worship God in a variety of ways. We sing praise to him and we hear his word read and we greet one another and we share in communion together and we hear his word preached. These are all acts of worship. We also worship him by sharing our financial resources to support the work of this ministry. Doing so is not an attempt at placing God in our debt, as if he would owe us for our “generosity.” Instead, it is a response of love and of adoration, for God has richly blessed us in Christ. Because he has already given us all things, we set apart a portion of our finances to give to his work on earth. To worship God in this way, take a moment and scroll up and click on the “GIVE” button.
Join us in the church-wide Zoom call by following the instructions sent to the church mailing list. We will spend time praying for one another face-to-digital-face!
