“And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighborhood as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)
The foundations for studying sexual ethics can be found in these verses. Loving God and others is not just what we say but how we live our lives. As followers of Christ we want to live to reflect God’s glory in all things, and we do that by understanding and submitting to God’s authority. In this series, each of the elders will participate in teaching on a wide range of topics dealing with a kingdom-oriented Christian sexual ethic that seeks to honor God above all else.
