Our mission statement is simple: “Making Disciples. Period.” Everything we do at New City Church is evaluated in light of this mandate from Jesus Himself. If an event or activity does not contribute to making disciples, we don’t do it as a church.
Part of being a follower of Jesus is getting to know Him by reading and studying His Word. While each one of us should engage in Bible reading and study on our own, it is often beneficial to study the Bible with others. New City currently offers two Bible studies, one for men and another for women. Pastor J-T leads the mens’ study on Sunday evenings and his wife, Dawnae, leads the womens’ study on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. While that is the general schedule, be sure to check the church calendar to confirm each meeting.
The men are currently working their way through “Old Testament Survey” and the women are working their way through ” “. Both groups are open to any age.
